Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 13, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of MP3 to WAV (the "Service"), a free, browser-based audio conversion tool. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What the Service does

MP3 to WAV lets you convert MP3 audio files into WAV audio files. All processing — reading, decoding, and re-encoding your file — happens locally in your web browser. The Service does not require an account, and we do not receive, store, or have access to the audio files you convert.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. In particular, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service to convert or otherwise process audio you don't have the legal right to use.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or the infrastructure it runs on.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service in a way that violates applicable law.

You are solely responsible for the audio files you choose to convert and for complying with any copyright or licensing terms that apply to them.

3. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every conversion will succeed for every file or browser.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Because conversion happens on your own device, we have no ability to back up, recover, or access files you process — please keep your own copies of anything important.

5. Intellectual property

The Service's design, code, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the audio files you convert — we claim no ownership over them, and we never see them in the first place.

6. Third-party services

The Service loads web fonts from Google Fonts. Loading these fonts may cause your browser to make a request to Google's servers, which is subject to Google's own privacy practices. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

8. Governing law

This page is a general-purpose terms template. It is not legal advice — if you operate this site commercially, have it reviewed by a qualified professional for your jurisdiction.
